I have worked in the mental health field for over 12 years as a psychotherapist and supervisor. I completed my Ph.D. in 2018 with a research specialization in supervision and clinician development. During this time, I explored the many life experiences that culminate to make us who we are as a whole person and clinician. I dedicated my research to best practices in clinician development, as I am committed to ongoing growth and learning through even the hardest times in life.

I approach every client with the respect, openness, collaboration, and flexibility necessary for the uniqueness of their therapeutic process. I very much value the roles of life experience and reflective practice in supporting change that can be truly transformative.

My therapeutic approach draws on a variety of therapies including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy.

Education: Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Masters in Counselling from the University of Ottawa.
