Working with Me
You might be feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to change—overthinking, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or noticing that your emotions—or your child’s—can quickly feel intense and hard to manage.
I view therapy as a bit like a road trip—you’re in the driver’s seat, choosing the destination, while I’m there alongside you as a navigator, helping guide the way. Together, we decide which directions feel right, adjust as needed, and work through any bumps that come up along the way.
Maybe things feel exhausting lately—like you’re constantly trying to keep up, manage stress, or hold everything together. Or maybe you’re navigating something heavier, like loss, past experiences, or a period of change that’s left you feeling stuck or unsure of what comes next.
Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
My goal is to work collaboratively with you to build a personalized set of tools you can rely on in your everyday life. I aim to create a space that feels warm, supportive, and down-to-earth—where you can feel more confident in yourself, make meaningful changes, and navigate challenges with a stronger sense of capability.
I work with children (10+), teens, and adults. With younger clients, sessions are often more interactive and engaging—using conversation, activities, or creative approaches to help them open up, stay involved, and feel comfortable in the process. I also work closely with parents, offering guidance and practical strategies so you feel supported in helping your child outside of sessions as well.
A Bit About Me
Growing up, my dream was to become an orchestral musician. For over 12 years, I dedicated myself to mastering my craft. During that time, I developed a deep interest not only in education, but also in the psychology of performance—particularly how to maintain wellbeing while working toward highly demanding and specific goals.
This curiosity ultimately led me to pursue graduate studies in performance psychology and mental health counselling in the United States. That journey has been both exciting and deeply fulfilling, and it continues to shape how I understand things like pressure, self-doubt, and the weight of high expectations.
I continue to be in awe of human resilience—our capacity for growth, change, and adaptation—and I feel truly honoured to be part of each person’s therapeutic journey.
In my work as a Registered Psychotherapist, I support children, teens, and adults using research-based approaches. I bring a thoughtful, engaged, and intentional approach to each session, along with a strong ability to identify underlying patterns and get to the root of what’s contributing to a client’s difficulties—helping guide meaningful, lasting change.
Across my work experience, I’ve worked in a variety of people-focused roles, which has shaped how I show up in therapy—approachable, attentive, and focused on creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself.
My Approach
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
At the same time, I focus on making therapy feel natural and personalized. Together, we build insight, practical coping strategies, and a stronger sense of self.
Outside of Therapy
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through CrossFit, spending time outdoors, knitting, reading, and connecting with friends and family.
